Last Tuesday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team lost in heart-breaking fashion to Walled Lake Northern, 39-38.
Northern scored on a steal in the last 20 seconds of the game to take the lead, then the Eagles missed an opportunity to tie/win the game at the end.
Andrew Turnquist had 13 points, Caleb Zurek had 9 and Andrew Platt and Kenny Hagle with 6 apiece. Lakeland falls to 8-1 ( 5-1 in LVC).
