Tuesday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team battled South Lyon East in a top-of-the-conference match-up. Despite an energized comeback attempt, the Eagles fell, 57-52.
Leading the way for the Eagles was sophomore Andrew Turnquist (17 pts), senior Ben Johnson (16 pts) and junior Caleb Zurek (11 pts).
Lakeland returns to action on Thursday with a road contest at Waterford Kettering.
