Wednesday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated Walled Lake Western, 48-34.
Caleb Zurek led the scoring with 16 points and Andrew Turnquist added 8 points. On the glass Shane Ells had 8 rebounds and Ben Johnson 6 to lead the Eagles.
Lakeland is 2-1, 2-0 in conference. The team returns to action tonight (Friday) in a LVC match-up at home against South Lyon East.
