Girls Varsity Track competes at Oakland County Meet; Ava Alicandro takes 2nd in the 3200m run

Friday, May 24th, some of our varsity athletes competed in the Oakland County Track Championships. Several athletes earned medals and PRS, and the Eagles best result came from junior Ava Alicandro who finished 2nd in the 3200m run.
Lakeland highlights:
Skylar Halbrook Disc 4th 120'7 (Medaled) (PR)
Ava Alicandro 3200m 2nd 11:19.36 (Medaled)
Kelsey Williams shot put 8th 32'4 (medaled)
Kennedy Foote Pole Vault 11th 9'0
Very proud of how these women competed all season. They showed true sportsmanship and great character all season.
Next up -- our 2 state-bound athletes to compete in the MHSAA Div 1 Track and Field State Championships on Saturday, June 1st.
