Saturday, the Wrestling program sent 13 wrestlers to compete in the District round of the MHSAA State Playoffs.

Two wrestlers qualified to participate in the Regional tournament on Feb.19th by finishing in the top 4 in their weight class.

Congratulations to Luke Jaworski and Bryent Shepherd. Jaworski finished 2nd at 140 lbs., while Shepherd finished 4th at 215 lbs.

Four other wrestlers came up one win short of qualifying:

Matt Eblen, 112 lbs

Seth Zimmerman, 130 lbs

Lucas Rogers, 160 lbs

Jordan Lancaster, 171 lbs

Three other wrestlers won one match in the District tournament.

Gage Whiting, 135 lbs

Everet Ross, 171 lbs

Lacob Law, 189 lbs
