Girls and Boys Cross Country teams earn Academic All-State honors

Recently, the Girls and Boys Cross Country teams earned Academic All-State recognition.
The Girls team ranked #2 in the state, posting a 3.985 GPA, just one thousandth of a point behind the #1 team. Individual Academic All-State honors went to the following runners (to qualify, they had to be on the State Meet competition roster):
Ava Alicandro
Alena Tiernan
Maya Pletzer
Morgan Scally
Isabelle Verellen
The Boys team finished as the #19 team, posting a GPA of 3.716. Individual Academic All-State honors went to the following runners (also, part of the State Meet roster):
Gavin Johns
Matthew Verellen
