Class of 2023 graduate McCoy Biagioli wins golf's Michigan Amateur Championship

Great news to report from the Boyne Highlands Heather Golf Course: McCoy Biagioli, Class of 2023, just won the 113th Michigan Amateur Championship, defeating Jimmy Dales (Northville) 3 & 1.
Because of his victory, McCoy now receives an automatic invitation to compete in the U.S. Amateur Championship which will be played at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Minnesota, August 12-18. Previous winners of that event include some names you might recognize: Arnold Palmer, Jack Nickalus, Phil Mickelson, Tiger Woods, and Bryson DeChambeau who just won his 2nd U.S. Open in dramatic fashion last weekend.
