Girls Varsity Soccer travels to Alpena to compete in the Sunrise Side Soccer Challenge

This weekend, the Girls Varsity Soccer team traveled north to compete in the Sunrise Side Soccer Challenge in Alpena.
The team competed in 6 abbreviated games over the weekend, finishing 1-4-1 in those games.
In a 3-1 loss to Byron Center, senior Nevada Ross scored the goal on an assist from Clare Bridgewater.
In a 2-0 win over New Haven, juniors Bridgewater and Emma Campoau scored for Lakeland. Senior Nicole Magretta had an assist.
Sophomore Mariah Shaver was named to the All-Tournament Team for the weekend.
