On Saturday, April 8th, the JV Baseball team battled Hartland to a dead heat, tying the first of a doubleheader, 1-1. Nate Sanko and Jamey Sanderson recorded the only 2 hits for the Eagles in this pitching duel, with Brian Townsend scoring the lone run. Noah Hogle, Dylan Brown, and Blake Zamenski combined for 7 strong innings on the bump, holding Hartland to 4 hits and a single run.
In the 2nd game, Hartland ran away with it, winning 11-1. Jake Sorvari and Blake Loisel recorded the only hits for Lakeland, with Carter Travis scoring the only run for the Eagles in a pinch running role.
