Boys Varsity Baseball defeats Walled Lake Central, 7-0; second game to be resumed today

WALLED LAKE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL: 0
Tuesday, May 7th, the Varsity Baseball team beat Walled Lake Central, 7 - 0 in LVC action. Noah Hogle and Joey Swartz combined for the shutout on the mound striking out 7 while only surrendering 1 walk. At the plate, Adam Trzcinski walked three times, had 2 stolen bases and scored 2 runs. Ethan Yen, Bo Bishop, Sean Latham and Brody Cutsinger all had hits in the Eagles victory.
Game 2 was called because of darkness with LHS winning 1 - 0 in the top of the 4th. That game will be resumed today along with Game 3 of the series at WLC beginning at 4pm.
The win yesterday moves the Eagles record to 15 - 6 overall and 13 - 2 in the LVC.
