Thursday, April 24th, the Boys Varsity Volleyball hosted Novi and North Farmington. The last home game brought an opportunity for the teams and family members to remember and honor Coach Bob Parsons with a moment of silence. The Eagles welcomed Luke Parsons as their honorary captain for the evening's matches. It wasn't all sadness, as the Eagles and all the competitors found appreciation and celebrated the contributions Coach Bob brought to the sport.
Both of Lakeland's opponents were strong Metro Detroit competitors. In the first match, the Eagles defeated North Farmington, 25-22 and 25-10. In the second match, the Eagles defeated top-ten-ranked Novi in two games, 25-15 and 25-17.
