Monday, April 21st, the Boys Varsity Volleyball team visited the highly ranked Farmington Falcons. With almost identical winning records, the Eagles knew they had their work cut out for them! Lakeland came out sluggish and fell behind quickly, dropping the first two games to the Falcons 25-16 and 25-8. With some changes, the Eagles fought back to win game three 25-22. In game four the momentum was obvious. The Eagles were managing the Falcons and had control of the play. On game point 24- 22, Lakeland suffered from a controversial situation that put a stop to their run. Within minutes, another scoring controversy put the Eagles in a situation that ended their comeback. Game four ultimately ended with Farmington winning 27-25. Lakeland remains undefeated in their conference play, and the upcoming regionals set the Eagles and the Falcons on a path for a rematch
