Malakai Sherwood finishes 2nd in first Snowboarding individual competition

Snowboardcross is back! Last night the LHS SBX team had its season opener at Alpine Valley with an individual race bracket.
For the boys, Noah Williams, Corbin Anderson, and Jamison Oleniczak each made it through to round three (that means they took first or second in their first two heats!). Aiden Boyd had a solid night where he took 1st in his first three heats and was eliminated just shy of the final race. Malakai Sherwood raced hard making it through four heats to the final race where he took 2nd overall.
