The Lakeland Varsity Girls Ski Team had another successful week of racing at Alpine Valley skiing the slalom race Tuesday and GS on Wednesday. The results of these two nights are combined for final scores in each week's match-ups. This week, the team was taking on Walled Lake Northern and Novi.
The girls continued their strong skiing and won both match-ups this week with final scores of LHS 24 WLN 53 and LHS 20 (a perfect score) Novi 80. Top racers for the girls were junior Brooke White (4th in the 10 team field in GS and 6th in slalom), freshman Molly Lynch (7th in GS and 2nd in Slalom), senior Angela Salmeto (7th in slalom, 13th in GS), senior Chloe Lynch (15th in slalom) and senior Autumn Christensen (16th in GS).
This brings the girls to a record of 5 wins, 0 losses in the Alpine Valley Division.
