The Lakeland Eagle bowlers competed at the Richard Hochstein Memorial tournament on Sunday, kicking off their season. The Girls Bowling team did well by qualifying 3rd overall for the match play elimination round. The girls won their 1st round match beating Hartland. The girls than went up against Westland John Glenn losing that match in 3 close games splitting the first 2 games before falling in the 3rd and deciding game. The girls beat Waterford Mott in the consolation round to finish in 3rd place overall in the tournament. We had 2 bowlers win medals for their accomplishments making the all-tournament team.
Amber Robertson won her medal for the 10th best individual game bowling a 200 game
Taylor McBride won her medal for finishing 5th overall for her 3 game series of 566
