Monday, March 23rd, the HVU Titans hosted Dexter High School at Lakeland for their home opener. The cold weather didn’t slow them down as the Titans powered to a 17–8 victory.
Impressive hustle and strong defensive play earned Claire Dougherty the game MVP. Leading the scoring were Captains Chloe Caldwell (8) and Maddie Kammer (4), with additional goals from Molly Jenkins (3) and Lizzy Prell (2).
JV goalies Rylie Hulswitt and Peyton Delemeester stepped up when needed, coming up with numerous clutch saves in net to help secure the win.
Great team victory and an exciting start at home!
