On a cold and rainy Friday night, the Huron Valley United Girls Varsity Lacrosse team traveled to Hartland for a match-up of two top-tier teams in the area. In a game that included players from both teams who play together in the off season, the competitveness was evident from the start.
Abby Hrobsky scored the first goal of the night, and the score was 11-10 Eagles at halftime. Hartland was able to lock down the Titans in the second half to secure the win. Besides Hrobsky's goal, additional goals for HVU: Jenna Hoppe (4), Emily Prell (4), Ella Rae Wenneshiemer, Ashley Spangler and Casey Meadows each with one.
We take on Walled Lake United on Tuesday Night, South Lyon on Wednesday Night and Cranbrook Thursday Night this week. Come out and cheer for our Lady Titans!
