Last Thursday, the Huron Valley United Girls Varsity Lacrosse team opened its season with a challenging match-up at Hartland. In the battle of Eagles, it was the Hartland squad which prevailed, winning 19-7.
For HVU, IA Sophomore Emily Prell and Lakeland Junior Abigail Hrobsky tallied 3 goals each while Alyssa Brinkmann added 1 to the record.
