Varsity Baseball splits doubleheader with Salem; Eagles finish regular season at 28-10

Saturday, May 24th, the Varsity Baseball team finished its regular season with a doubleheader against Salem. In game one, the Eagles lost in the bottom of the 7th on an infield single 1-0. Jack Miller had a strong outing on the mound pitching the whole game, allowing 2 hits, 2 walks and striking out 11 batters. Ethan Yen had the only hit for the Eagles.
Game 2 against Salem was also a nailbiter. The Eagles won in 8 innings 7-6. In the top of the 8th with the game tied 3-3, walks by Adam Trzcinski and Noah Hogle plated 2 runs. Brooks Scheck also singled home 2 runs. The Eagles held on in the bottom of the 8th, with Ethan Yen getting a ground out to stop the Salem threat.
The Eagles finish the regular season 28-10 and head into District play against Waterford Kettering on May 31st at 12:30PM.
