Wednesday, the Lakeland Eagles Varsity Baseball team returned from break and got better, beating South Lyon East by a score of 9 - 1.
Case Jaworski earned the win on the mound throwing 4 1/3 innings only allowing one run. Austin Conley showed well in relief to secure to win. Sam Falzon, Drake Schultz, Anthony Rossi and Kevin Krill all had big days at the plate and in the field. The Eagles were ahead 3 -1 after 4 innings in Game 2 which was suspended due to darkness.
Lakeland travels to South Lyon East today to complete the suspended game and play Game 3 of the LVC series.
