Monday, the Lakeland Varsity Baseball team beat Walled Lake Western in a Lakes Valley Conference doubleheader yesterday by scores of 4 -3 and 12 - 0.
Austin Conley picked up the win in Game 1. Kevin Krill was 4 - 5 with 6 RBI on the day, Drake Schultz was 3 - 4 on the day and Tate Farquhar and Sam Falzon each added two hits in the doubleheader.
Trent Farquhar had an outstanding start to his senior campaign going 2 - 3 with 3 walks, 4 RBI and 4 runs scored on the day. He also pitched a complete game NO HITTER with 10 strikeouts in the night cap.
The Eagles resume action Wednesday (tomorrow) as they wrap up their LVC series with Walled Lake Western. the game will be played at Lakeland High School and will begin at 4:00PM.
