Friday, December 12 , the Girls Junior Varsity Basketball team traveled to Novi to finish up a very busy first week of the season with three games in five days. A very experienced Wildcat team was too much for the Eagles, handing them their second loss of the season, 35-12.
The Wildcats jumped out to a 13-1 lead after the first quarter and eventually pushed the lead up to 16-1 before the Eagles were able to score five more points before the end of the half. The second half Lakeland played some pretty good half court defense but were just unable to mount much of a charge on the offensive end ultimately falling to Novi, 35-12.
