Tuesday, the Huron Valley United Gymnastics took on Walled Lake Central/Western and Walled Lake Northern and came out on top with a team score of 136.45 to Walled Lakes' 128.05 and 123.55.
Top performers for Huron Valley were Lakeland's Halie Martin with a season high 8.05 on bars and 8.5 on floor. Milford senior Erika Yates had a great day with an 8.35 on vault, 7.95 on bars and a 9.15 on beam and 9.1 on floor. Lakeland sophomore Elaina Cotton received a score of 8.5 on vault and Milford sophomore Karli Bredernitz earned an 8.6 on floor.
The season is winding down and we are looking forward to regionals!
