Monday, the Huron Valley United Gymnastics team had its highest score of the season on its way to defeating Tecumseh and Cass City.
The team reached a 139.825, Tecumseh followed with a 128.525 and Cass City with a 126.00. Top performers for the day were IA senior, Maeve Spicer with a season high 9.65 on vault, 9.025 on bars and a 9.175 on floor. Lakeland Junior Elena Hale scored a 9.0 on vault, 8.9 on beam and 8.6 on floor. Lakeland junior Ava Barwikowski scored a 9.1 on vault, 8.55 on bars and 8.525 on beam. Miford senior, Erika Yates scored a 9.2 on vault and 9.275 on floor.
