The Huron Valley United Girls Swim and Dive team closed out its dual meet schedule with an out of conference win over Pontiac Notre Dame Prep on Senior Night, winning 103 to 82. It was a great meet up and down as NDP moved into an early 11 point lead heading into the diving competition but HVU rallied to put the meet away heading into the final events of the evening.

The senior captain medley relay of Kayla Pletzer, Mila Koivula, Mallory Armstrong and Jackie Gmyrek took 3rd in the opening event, just narrowly losing to Huron Valley's underclassmen relay team. Pletzer took home 3rd places in the 500 Free and 100 Breaststroke while Armstrong took 4th in the 100 Free in addition to swimming on first place relay teams in the 200 and 400 free relays. Gmyrek took 4th overall in diving while Koivula took 4th in the 200 Individual medley.

Senior Amelia Conz swam personal bests in the 200 and 100 Freestyles as did senior Lucie Prieur in the 50 and 100 Freestyle events. Senior Sophia Begerska also achieved a season best time in the 100 Freestyle.

The team finishes the season with a 6-1 Dual meet record, and a 4-1 record in the LVC. They travel to South Lyon East this Friday (11/4) and Saturday (11/5) to compete in the Lakes Valley Conference Championship meet.
