Girls Varsity Golf qualifies for State Finals by placing 2nd at MHSAA Regional; Eagles shoot 343, all 5 players place in top 20

Tuesday, October 7th, the Girls Varsity Golf team qualified for the D1 State Championship for the first time since 2005 with a team score of 343 in the MHSAA Regional held at Twin Lakes GC. The team played well under pressure and in difficult conditions, facing rain, wind and cold temperatures throughout the round.
All five Eagles placed inside the top 20 individually en route to their second place team finish. Senior Anna Linen (80, 3rd) and freshman Abigail Ngo (83, 4th) both earned medals for their top 5 performances. Senior Claire Linen (90, 14th), junior Cailyn Milewski (90, 14th), and senior Aubrin Miller (95, 18th) rounded out scoring for the impressive team effort.
The Eagles will compete in the MHSAA State Finals hosted by The Meadows @ Grand Valley State on October 17th and 18th
