Last week, the LVC held it's post-season Conference Tournament, an event that ended up being shortened to a 9-hole competition because of inclement weather.

Lakeland had golfers competing at the Varsity level and the JV level for the event. At the Varsity level, the Eagles fired a round of 209 to finish 4th out of 8 teams (South Lyon shot 179 to win the event).

Senior Morgan Jantz and freshman Bryn Dubin led the way, each shooting 50 for the round. Sophomore Mackenzie Kotsonas (54) and junior Kayla Frank (55) completed the scoring for the Eagles. Freshman Ashlyn Dostal (57) and senior Malina Gallmeyer (62) also played.

Three Eagles earned All-Conference recognition for the play at the Pre-Sesason and Post-Season tournaments: Morgan Jantz, junior Bella Shaw, and Bryn Dubin.

By finishing 4th at the final event, Lakeland secured a 4th place finish for the season in the LVC.

In the JV event, Lakeland took 3rd out of 6 teams, firing a 222. Junior Morgan Main led the way with a solid 52 for the round. Junior Faith Conrad also had a solid round, shooting a 53. Chloe Warner (57) and Sana Singh (60) rounded out the scoring. Lexie Martin (63) and Katie Guile (69) also competed for the Eagles.
