This past Friday, the Girls Cross Country team finished fifth out of nine teams at the MHSAA Pre-Regional tournament... narrowly missing fourth (and a chance to move on to Regionals as a team) by 5 points (96-101).
Qualifying to move on to the Regional race as were sophomore Mia McDonald (7th), senior Aria Novello (15th), and junior Molly Libby (25th). In a heartbreaking yet great effort, Ava Walsh (26th) and Annabelle Mowers (28th) were the first finishers beyond the Regional qualification cutoff. Also competing for the Eagles were Trinity Mann (36th) and Raegan Lukes (51st).
Mia, Aria, and Molly will run this Friday at the Regional race for a chance to qualify for the State Meet.
