Saturday, the Girls Cross-Country team was up early to host a dual meet against Waterford Mott. The Eagles proved to be morning warriors, defeating Mott, 20-40.
Sophomore Mia McDonald broke the tape for the first time in her high school career with a time of 21:23. Lakeland's order of finish after McDonald: senior Aria Novello (2nd-21:40), junior Molly Libby (4th-21:54), sophomore Ava Walsh (6th- 22:30), and senior Annabelle Mowers (7th-22:38).
