On Monday, August 22nd, the Lakeland Boys soccer teams took on the Holly Bronchos. It was a cool but humid evening and the JV team got the night started with a 3-1 victory. Tied at half, they came out strong pressuring the Holly goal with several chances. Goals by #6 Genki Kondo (his second of the game) and #3 Gabe Wright sealed the JV victory.
The boys will start their Lakes Valley Conference season with the Battle of Bogie Lake. Walled Lake Northern will be coming to our field this year on Tuesday, August 23rd. Come out and cheer the boys on. JV at 5:30 and Varsity at 7pm.
