Friday, the Boys Varsity Soccer team hosted a game against Walled Lake Western, a game in which the first half and the second half were two different stories. At the end, the Eagles drew to a 2-2 tie with the Warriors.
In the first half, Arthur White scored an early header goal (assist to Aris Guiliana) for Lakeland; but Western tied it up shortly after. Then, Amir Dziljaj put the Eagles up ahead again with a goal off an excellent throw-in. But, Western responded with a pretty goal of its own to even the score at 2-2 going into halftime.
The second half had no scoring at all, a drastic change from the exciting back-and-forth action of the first half.
