Thursday, the Boys Varsity Soccer team opened up the Lakes Valley Conference (LVC) part of its schedule, drawing to a 1-1 tie on the road against Walled Lake Northern.
Andrea Bruletti scored for the Eagles on a penalty kick in the 2nd half. Lakeland was anchored by strong play on the defensive line and in goal.
Lakeland is now 0-1-1 for the season. A game earlier this week against Royal Oak was postponed because of weather and may be re-scheduled for later in the season.
