Tuesday, October 7th, the Boys Cross Country team swept both South Lyon schools in its final LVC dual meet.
The Eagles defeated South Lyon East 20-35, and they defeated South Lyon 15-40.
Lakeland had a pack of 5 runners all cross the line between the 17:03 mark and 17:29, with only one runner from South Lyon East finishing ahead of them.
Gavin Johns led the way followed by Brendan Humitz, Lucas Naspinsky, Owen Nelms, and Tyler Johns. Senior Michael Zaremba set a new PR in his final home race, while senior Dylan Strand set a new season's best.
Lakeland finishes the LVC head-2-head schedule with a 7-1 record.
