On Saturday, the Boys Cross-Country team traveled 2 hours to the Shepard Blue Jay Invitational. It was a completely new experience for the group going against many runners they wouldn’t typically race. The course was moving for the guys as we amounted 19 personal best times!
In the varsity race, Harrison Grzymkowski and Tyler Mann got out to a competitive start while the other guys were more conservative. In some instances, too conservative but they worked their way through the field passing many runners on the way to a second place finish in the large school division. Grzymkowski won the race going away in 15:32. Tyler Mann ran 16:48 (12th), Emmet Reamer ran 17:18 (27th), Kiree Kailimai ran 17:38 (43rd) and Alex Sullivan rounded out the scoring running 17:57 for 67th place out of 172 runners in the race.
Huge shoutout to Jack vVtick on crushing his Pr down to 18:22 and earning his varsity letter! The same goes for Issac Tiernan who pushed his way to 18:29 to get his varsity letter!
