Thursday, the JV Football team traveled across town to MHS and ended their season with a 16 - 16 tie.

Down 16 - 0 in the second half, the young Eagles showed great resilience on the road, in the rain, coming back to even the score with a chance to win as the clock ran out. Leading the Eagles defensively were Kaden Hedger, Landon Wasson, Trevor Tschudin and Blake Zamensky who all had sacks. Omar Escobar and Brody Cutisinger each had interceptions. Offensively, Tschudin, Cutsinger and Sean Latham all had over 70 yards in the balanced running attack. Grant Glossinger found the end zone twice, both on QB sneak and Latham chipped in with the two point conversions.

This game concludes a very successful season for the JV Eagles, finishing with a record of 6 - 2 - 1 but more importantly showing the type of improvement, toughness and work ethic that is expected of a Lakeland Football player, congratulations to all of the players and coaches on a fun year.
