This past weekend, the Varsity Softball team competed in the Michigan Stars Tournament held in Grand Blanc.  The Eagles finished their day going 1-1-1.

In the first game, Lakeland lost a low-scoring affair to Marysville.  Summer Ambler was on the mound for the Eagles; at the plate, Grace Glossinger went 2-4.

In the second game, Lakeland defeated LVC foe South Lyon East, 14-11. 

In the 2nd inning, the Eagles pushed 9 runs across the planet.  Glossinger, Payton Grange, Natalie Gizoni, Parker Ostach, and Mckenna Bergman all drove in runs during the outburst.  Tied at 10-10 in the top of the 6th inning, the Eagles took the lead and held on for the win.

Ambler notched the win on the mound.  Bergman led the offense going 2-3.

In the third game, Lakeland and Lake Shore played to an 8-8 tie.

In the 3rd inning, the Eagles scored three times behind RBI hits from Ally Carlson, Ashlyn Dostal, and Glossinger.  Earlier in the game, Ambler hit a home run to put Lakeland on the board. In total, Lakeland tallied 14 hits as Ambler, Bergman, Dostal, Carlson, and Gizoni all had multiple hits.
