Thursday night, the Lady Eagles played host to the Lady Mavericks in a seesaw duel in the pool. It seemed that the lead changed with each event as the girls of both teams fought hard and would not give an inch. Going into the final event of the evening, the score was tied at 87, The meet was to be decided by the final event in a winner-takes-all race. When the waters settled, the Eagles fell to Mavericks by a score of 96 to 90.

The girls will be back in action next week to close out the dual meet season with a couple meets. The Eagles will play host to the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame Prep on Tuesday before honoring our seniors in their last home meet on Thursday versus Walled Lake Western. Both meets start at 600pm
