Game Date

Friday, the Girls Track team had several individuals compete at the Oakland County Championship Meet in Clarkston.

Senior Grace Stark did something no other female athlete in the county has ever done as she won the 100m dash for the 4th consecutive year, winning in a time 12.12 seconds. Stark, still easing back from an injury, did not compete in her other marquee event, the 100m hurdles, although she has qualified in that event for the State Meet where she'll have the chance to win it for the 2nd year in a row.

Stark also ran on the 4x100m relay team, joined by junior Sarah Daniel and sophomores Nicole Graham and Callie Shanahan. That squad finished 3rd with a season-best time of 50.09 seconds.

The girls 4x800m relay team ran a great race, finishing in 2nd place by less than half a second at 9:45.89. Senior Madeline Rehm, juniors Lauren Garbovits and Rylee Lukes, and sophomore Aria Novello.

In the girls pole vault, senior Erin Murphy and Graham tied for 6th place, both clearing the bar at the 8' 6" mark.
