On Sunday, the Girls Bowling team had a good day at the Oakland County Championship held at Cherry Hill Lanes North in Clarkston, finishing 3rd overall.

During the qualifying portion of the event, the team placed 3rd overall out of 26 teams. Once in the Match play round, the girls first defeated Waterford Kettering, 312-276.   Next, the girls beat Clarkston, 323-306.   In the semi-final round, the girls did some of their best work but came up just short of advancing to the finals to the tournament runner up Farmington Harrison, losing 381-397.   In the consolation round the girls took care of business taking down Waterford Mott, 357-317. 

The team had 2 bowlers make the All-Tournament team as well as several good scores from other girls on the team.  Taylor McBride earned a  medal for 9th place for individual high game with a score of 220.  Taylor also earned a medal for the top spot in 3 game series with scores of  220-207-185 for a 612 series.  Kayla Cooper earned a medal for 10th place in 3 game series with scores of 175-201-192 for a 568 series.   Other high games were
