Boys Varsity Basketball falls to defending state champs, Clarkston, 64-40

CLARKSTON HIGH SCHOOL: 64
This past Tuesday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team traveled to Clarkston to take on the defending state champions in Class A. Although Clarkston lost some key players, the team is still considered one of the strongest in the area. The Wolves lived up to that reputation, defeating the Eagles, 64-40.
Clarkston used a 25-4 3rd quarter to glide to the victory.
In the loss Lucas Theaker led Lakeland with 11 points and Kyle Flowers added 8.
Lakeland is 2-1 in the early part of this season and will host Southfield Bradford Academy on Tuesday 12/18 and South Lyon East on Thursday 12/20 to open league play.
