Last weekend, the Girls Swim & Dive program competed in the MHSAA Regionals, vying for the opportunity to swim at the State Finals this weekend.
Junior diver Stella Fairbanks continued her impressive career, finishing 2nd with a final point total of 380.25. She will compete in the Finals starting this Friday.
Senior swimmer Kate Doyle qualified yet again, earning the opportunity to compete in both the 200m freestyle and the 500m freestyle events.
Freshman Elise McCaul will also compete in the State Finals after posting a solid time in the 500m freestyle.
All three student-athletes will be representing Lakeland at the State Meet this weekend at Eastern Michigan University.
