Boys Varsity Baseball concludes regular season with 7-5 win Detroit Edison; Eagles host MHS in MHSAA District game on Saturday

Wednesday, the Varsity Baseball team competed in its final regular season game, beating Detroit Edison by a score of 7 - 5. Jake Held started and earned the win on the mound. Matthew Hanneman hit a 3 run homer in the first inning to set the tone. Tate Farquhar and Caden Duryea were each 2 for 3 with two stolen bases while Nolan Hull, Luke Weinberger and Brandon Abray each added hits.
The win moves the Eagles record to 24 - 9 overall and 20 - 3 (LVC Champions) in the league. They next host MHS is MHSAA District play on Saturday at 12:15pm.
